BQ78350: External Charge Enable/Inhibit

Part Number: BQ78350
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: BQ76200, BQ76930

Tool/software:

In a battery using a bq76930 + bq78350 + bq76200 are there any options for implementing an external charge inhibit?
By this I mean an input to the battery that has to be driven to allow charging to take place?

Some of the older bq devices had this feature as a charge enable input (eg BQ20Z655).

With the 78350 I can see the PRES input, but this disables charge and discharge and then KEYIN which disables discharge, but I can't see a way of just allowing/preventing charge via an input on the 78350.

The only way I can see of doing it at the moment is by switching the CHG line between the 78350 and the 76200, which is an option but adds additional components.

Thanks,

Simon
