BQ78350-R1A: Can a charge enable function be configured as per a BQ20Z655-R1

We previously used the now obsolete BQ20Z655-R1.

We are now looking to use the BQ78350R1-A married with the BQ76920, but we need Charge Enable Functionality on an assigned pin. The CE pin needs the functionality whereby we can set a current threshold limit.

The BQ78350 was selected because it can be configured to drive LCDs. (Customer Requirement).

The BQ20Z655-R1, which had the required CE function(s), can the BQ78350-R1A be configured to perform the same CE functionality that was on the BQ20Z655-R1?

The BQ78350R1-A does not have a CE pin.

Thank you for your reply. However, that is not what I asked, or meant to ask. I know the BQ78350 doesn't have a CE Pin, what I was wanting to know is, can the BQ78350 be configured to have CE Functionality? i.e. is there a pin for example that could be used and configured to act as a CE pin?

I do not believe that this device has the same functionality that you are wanting. Additionally the BQ78350 is not recommended for new designs per ti.com.
