LMR51450: spec compare between LMR51450-Q1 and LMR51450

Part Number: LMR51450

Tool/software:

Hi,

Is LMR51450SQDRRRQ1 a drop-in replacement for LMR51450SDRRR? Do you have a specification compare to show the subtle difference between the two parts? Thanks.

Best regards

Gordon

  • Hi Gordon,

The two devices are "drop in" replacements of each other, they have the same pin out and functionality. Main difference is that the "-Q1" device is AEC-Q100 qualified, which is a specific qualification for automotive devices.

    Thanks,

    Dino

  • At a glance I have noticed some differences between the two parts (shown below). Can you help do a detailed comparison? Thanks.

    LMR51450:

Frequency setting pin used to set the switching frequency between 200 kHz and 1.1 MHz by
placing an external resistor from RT to AGND. RT open defaults to 500 kHz and RT short to
    ground defaults to 1 MHz.

    LMR51450-Q1:

Frequency setting pin used to set the switching frequency between 200kHz and 1MHz by
placing an external resistor from RT to AGND. RT open defaults to 440kHz and RT short to
    ground defaults to 1MHz.

  • Hi Gordon,

Those are the only differences I see. The two devices are pin to pin, and should work as a drop in replacement for each other.

    Thanks,

    Dino
