TPS7H5001-SP: Enable Pin Specs

Part Number: TPS7H5001-SP

Tool/software:

My customer is interested in understanding the delay time for the following two conditions:

  1. Delay time from crossing rising edge threshold 0.6V of the enable pin to when PWM pulses begin to drive at the OUTA/OUTB pins.
  2. Delay time from crossing the falling edge threshold 0.5V of the enable pin to when PWM pulses stop at OUTA/OUTB/SRA/SRB pins.

They would like to know how fast they could rely on this pin to stop PWM switching in the event of a fault requiring them to shut down a power converter.

  • Hey Lauren,

This is not a specification that we go through and test to a minimum/maximum value.
I can nominally test a device to get an approximate value, but what you described makes me worried that a minimum/maximum value is required.

Would you say this is the case?

    Thanks,
    Daniel
