BQ76942: Using Precharge Driver in Low Side Fet Switching and OTP Programming

Part Number: BQ76942

Tool/software:

I plan to use the OTP (One-Time Programmable) feature of the BQ76942 and I'm configuring the system with low-side FETs. I would like to implement the precharge sequence entirely without a host processor. Specifically, can the OTP configuration be used to initially turn on the PDSG/PCHG FETs when a load is detected or discharging begins, and then, after a defined delay or once a voltage threshold is reached, switch control to the DDSG and DCHG FETs?
In the In the BQ76942 Technical Reference Manual, the precharge sequence is described primarily in the context of high-side FET switching, using the CHG and DSG pins (which are high-side drivers) along with PCHG and PDSG.
