BQ24192: ILIM - limit maximum input current - total device current or to BAT?

Hello, the datasheet for this device states: For safe operation, the bq24190, bq24192, bq24192I has an additional hardware pin on ILIM to limit maximum input current on ILIM pin. Is this for all current into the BQ24192 or does it only limit the current flowing into the battery?

    Hi Owen,

    That's for the input current limit. The actual input current limit is the Analog lower one set by ILIM and by I2C REG00[2:0]. The minimum input current programmed on ILIM pin is 500 mA.
