BQ76952: BQ76952 ESD-Related Abnormality

Part Number: BQ76952

Tool/software:

Applying a -12kV negative electrostatic discharge (ESD) to the B- terminal of the BQ76952 may cause the chip to shut down its output, result in heating of the balancing resistors, and make the chip appear to enter an abnormal state. Attached are the schematic and PCB design files. Could you please help analyze the root cause? Thank you!
