Which version has fixed the following problem: During the simulation of the charging end of BQ40Z50 (39 seconds after the NCT starts), a discharge current occurs, causing the internal watchdog of the IC to time out, resulting in a WDT reset and a communication interruption.

When the V5.05 is downloaded, it will contain the release notes of every update and change that has been made to the firmware. This can be referenced to see the changes.

Hi Anthony, There are no specific details in the change record. We can't confirm that the problem points improved by TI are exactly the ones we found. What we want to know is which version of the software has resolved the following issue: During the simulation process at the end of BQ40Z50 charging (after NCT is activated), a discharge current occurs, causing the internal watchdog of the IC to time out and resulting in a restart and communication interruption.

Since there have been improvements and changes to different parts of the gauging functionality throughout each firmware update, there is the potential that one of these changes could beneficially affect the situation at hand. Please let us know if this issue is observed on the most recent version of the firmware and we can look deeper into the issue.
