LMG1210: Half-bridge driver recommendation inquiry

Hi, TI expert

The customer is reviewing the NDT Pulser with the following specs:
- Semiconductor wafer defect inspection
- TX frequency: 100~150MHz
- TX Vpp: 0~-250V

For frequency above 100MHz, the following components are being considered:
- eGaN FET: GS66504B (Infineon)
- FET driver (Half-bridge driver): LMG1210 (TI)

Does the above product fit the customer's specs? or can you recommend a suitable product?

Hello Grady,

It is possible to drive the LMG1210 at such high frequency but it is not recommended as care must be taken not to exceed the maximum operating temperature while switching. This FAQ calculator tool may help.
