Hello,

I am currently using https://www.ti.com/lit/ta/ssztcw6/ssztcw6.pdf?ts=1748275378787 - design guide for calculating Transformer parameters. I have considered DCM mode of operation.

Could you please help me with derivations for these equations for better understanding.

This is used for 3 Outputs. Is there any reference where i can follow after calculating the parameters for single output?

    Hi,

    What converter topology are you using with UCC2803-EP? The link you show is for flyback. To what I know UCC2803-EP is not for a flyback so the link you show is not applicable to UCC2803-EP.

    Hello,

    Yes we are using Flyback topology.

    We are using external mosfet amd transformer along with UCC2803 Controller for driving the mosfet.

    We have got this part suggested from TI for flyback based on our requirements.

    Could you please ellaborate why we cannot use this for flyback topology.

    Hi,

    Sorry, it is ok to use the paper for flyback. But this is not my paper so I cannot help you to redo the equation development. The paper author is no longer with TI so I also cannot find his help.

    I suggest you also follow the below or use a college electronics text book to your design, if you feel some questions on the paper.
