Could you please let know what does n stand for in equations

Is it Np/Ns or efficiency?

Hi,

It is a number not easy to present while very close to 1. Usually you can assume it is n = 1 for design. If you want to get its precise expression you can look at the below handbook and look for flyback then develop based on the equations over there.

Hello,

Referring to chapter 9 ie Flyback converter in the mentioned document, i do not get any info about what 'n' is.

I still did not get what does 'n' stand for here.

Could you help on this!

As I said, for a design, please use n = 1.
