Tool/software:

Trying to create a design using the Type 3 Ripple Generation Method using the LMR5166-DESIGN_CALC_REVA1 calculator.

(1) The LMR516XX-DESIGN_CALC_REVA1 refers to the LMR50410-Q1 device. Is this correct?

(2) The Type 3 Ripple Generation method uses RA, CA and CB parameters not shown in the figure.

(3) Should the output capacitor chosen include downstream capacitors such as input capacitors

for other regulators and local capacitors for processors and the like?

Hi,

LMR50419 is a peak current mode control device. It doesn't need Ripple injection.

I really wanted to know if I had the correct calculator for the device.

The calculator is LMR516XX-DESIGN_CALC_REVA1

However, the calculator itself refers to the LMR50410 specifically.

I am reviewing an old design using the LM5166 but I can't find a calculator for this device.

2) You are looking for a calculator for LMR50410?
