LM5045: Marking decoding and part change history

Part Number: LM5045

Tool/software:

I have a somewhat unusual request regarding a batch of older Texas Instruments components LM5045MHX/NOPB marked 18A02DUG3. We are currently performing an internal verification to assess their authenticity and would greatly appreciate your assistance.

Unfortunately, we are unable to find official TI documentation to decode this specific marking — particularly regarding the date code, lot origin, or manufacturing site if there were more than one. Additionally, while the TI website does not provide historical data for this part, we came across references such as PCN# 20130218003A, which mentions changes in the bonding material (e.g., copper wire) for devices in TSSOP packages.

Would you be able to help us with the following:

  1. Decoding the 18A02DUG3 marking – especially with regard to production date and location,

  2. Providing any information on product revisions, silicon changes, or other PCNs related to this device?
