Hi Expert,
Have a nice day!
About the State Diagram of TPS2HCS08-Q1, I want to know if these 4 arrows all connect to “ACTIVE” state, not the “CONFIG” state. Right?
Thanks!
Best Regards,
Leo

Hi Leo,
The device returns to whichever state it was in before entering each respective mode. For example, if a channel is enabled in Manual LPM and there is a short circuit, the device will transition to Active mode, and if the current exceeds the Active mode short circuit threshold then the channel will be turned off as programmed (auto-retry or latch off).
Thanks,
Patrick
Thanks Patrick,
So, if the conditions are “SPI Manual LPM Exit CMD || Load Current Increase || LHI = 1”(as red rectangle), this will cause MANUAL_LPM to Active.
Is there any condition will cause MANUAL_LPM to CONFIG (as Blue circle)?
Thanks!
Best Regards,
Leo
Hi Leo,
For example, the device can go from Manual LPM to Config mode if both channels are off when the device goes into Manual LPM.
Thanks,
Patrick
