Dear team,

I go through the Unknow gate failure issue. I checked on oscilloscope i found that my gate to controller ground pin i found that the voltage gone to negative but that is approx. 100ns and the voltage level is also vary from -100mV to -1.25V. So, my question is what the minimum time should be should it bear. and suggest also Schottky diode for that.

    Hi Munna,

    It would be best to determine the root cause of why the gate is going negative. Violating the -0.3V abs max rating can instantly damage the pin. A Schottky diode might help, but you may have a layout issue.
