LM1117-Q1: TSD(shutdown)

Part Number: LM1117-Q1

Tool/software:

LM1117-Q1 in the specification sheet

The internal protection junction temperature of PLM111750QKVURQ1 is 180 degrees TSD(shutdown). However, after we received the sample and measured it under different loads, the junction temperatures calculated based on the above method during LDO protection were different? And it's not even 180 degrees?

Is this normal? Please help take a look

  • Hi Hui,

You can normally expect TSD have +/- 10'C but this does not seem normal. Can you clarify, what is your test setup and how are you choosing your measurement points? Also are the resistors mentioned in column 1 being connected in series with R683?

    Thanks,

    Gregory Thompson
