Tool/software:
Hi team,
Is there a way to know the fault status such as OVP or OTP from outside?
I think the SS terminal is discharged during OTP, but does the SS terminal remain unchanged during OVP or OCP?
Best regards,

Hello Hirotsugu-san,
The internal "ReStart" signal discharges the SS terminal:
ReStart can be triggered by 3 possible fault conditions: OTP, VCC UVLO, or VSENSE < 0.6V:
Therefore, OVP and OCP do not discharge SS and its voltage remains unchanged during these fault conditions.
It is common that these conditions may be very brief and the PFC can quickly recover, so the PFC should not be forcibly restarted on OVP or OCP.
Regards,
Ulrich
