Hi experts, 

Could we use a real battery instead of a power source when doing current calibration? Are there any side effects?

    Hi Iris,

    While you can use a real battery instead of a power source, it will be more complicated than using a power source. You would have to set up the correct resistance in series with the battery and verify that the system is drawing 1 Amp. A power source would be much easier as you can directly apply the recommended 1 A.
