TPS281C30: how to connect NC pins

Dear team,

TPS281C30 has NC pins 7,8,9. Can those be connected to GND for better thermal connection to the PCB or should they be not connected?

    Hi Lutz,

    It is recommended that the NC pins are left floating. The device has a thermal pad that when connected to the board ground copper, provides better thermal performance. Please see section 9.4.2 Layout Example in the datasheet.
