TPS22811: Load switch not turning on despite Enable 2.8V

Tool/software:

In attached circuit, my EN pin is correctly coming up to 2.8V when I press a button,

The input Sys-Switch is also correctly 12V, however the output never turns on. I am not sure why. I did get this circuit reviewed in a previous post. not sure what is going on.

Hi Aria,

Did you short the DVDT with OUT? You didn't short it in previous schematic which you showed me. Are you simulating this design or you have a pcb made for this. If you have a pcb made, can you cut the trace. DVDT floating is fine but not short to out during startup.

Ok thanks for the catch. it does indeed look shorted. I will try cutting the trace. Also I think My rlim is incorrect too, 10k is too less for the current I am expecting. Can I short it if I dont care about current limit? Will it cause any adverse effect?

Yes, you can short the IMON pin to GND if not used.
