I have made an evaluation board for 4 boost DC-DC convertor . They are TPS61022, TPS61033, TPS 61230 and TPS61070.
The input is powered by a 3,2V battery, and output all set to 5V with resisters.
So, first test is power them up at the same time, but no load at all.
when power it up, the TPS61022 and TPS61033 have no output and getting really hot , one trace is brut to disappeared.
This is not short, I measure the output and input pin, there were no shortage at all.
I have made two boards, they all have the same problem.
The TPS61070 works, but when 0.3A load connected, the output would drop down to 4.5V (0.7V from no load).
The TPS61023 is the only one works as expected.
The circuit are all referred from datasheet: what could be the problem of 75% of them didn't work?
