Hi All,

I am reviewing the schematic of the TPS6521901 designed by a customer.

Will this device work standalone without EEPROM?

The customer's schematic does not use I2C.

I would like to review the schematic together with you. I would like to share the schematic in a private message.

Hi Ishiwata-san,

If I2C is not used in their system, this will be fine if they are able to accept all the default settings of TPS6521901.

The device will power on with the following settings described in the Technical Reference Manual (TRM) : https://www.ti.com/lit/pdf/slvuch3
If all settings are OK and do not need to be changed, then this will work fine!
If any settings like output voltage or need to be adjusted, then I2C will be needed.
