Dear Sir,

We have some questions about using TPS92201 in NPI.

Could you please confirm and provide your suggestions?

1. When the load is small, TPS92201 enters power saving mode, but the datasheet does not mention how small the load needs to be for power saving mode to activate.

2. Is it possible for us to disable this power saving mode via I2C?

Hi,

what's the actual part customer using?

TPS92201 is FPWM version and suggested if customer had concern on power saving mode at light load.

Ok, pls explain it to customer that At light load, only TPS92201A automatically enters pulse frequency modulation (PFM) to maintain high efficiency over the entire load current range, TPS92201 will keeps switching at 1.5MHz for smaller output ripple.
