BQ4050: Not able to create gg file & issue with log file

Hi Adam,

Please find the attached images below. Could you please let me know what is wrong here, and what can we try to fix this issue so that customer can continue to evaluate with our device without any issues?

1. Log file created & saved as 'log1'

2. gg file created & saved as 'export1'

3. As you can see, only 'log1', the log file, is created and gg file is not created at all. 

4. Also, when checking the log file, nothing has been written on it.

Hi Jade,

An old bqstudio version is being used (1.3.101). Try updating your bqstudio to the lastest version (1.3.127.3). I am attaching a link to download the latest bqstudio version.

Customer did try with the new version, but the issue stays the same.

Is there something else we can try here?

Hi Jade,

This could possibly be a windows issue. Is bqstudio automatically detecting the device? Try placing the log file in the bqstudio installed path. Let me know if this works or doesn't.

Hi Adam,

Thank you for your suggestion! 

In addition, one thing that customer found is that when they try to do 'data memory Export' on BQstudio, they see red text on bottom left, 'file access denied'. and the file is not saved on PC. 

And so they are not able to save log & gg.csv file.

Could you share what can be wrong here?
