Hi Team,
I am planning on not using the AFE's following functionality
1. External MOSFET control.
2. AFE's internal regulator to power other ic's on the board.
3. Fuse cutoff control.
For that I have identified that the following pins can be safely terminated as mentioned in the unused pin section(16.6) of the datasheet.
The following are the pins that I have terminated appropriately as mentioned in 16.6 section,
29 - CFETOFF
30 - DFETOFF
31 - DCHG
32 - DDSG
34 - REG2 (NOT USING THE INTERNAL REGULATOR TO POWER OTHER IC)
35 - REG1 (NOT USING THE INTERNAL REGULATOR TO POWER OTHER IC)
36 - REGIN (NOT USING THE INTERNAL REGULATOR TO POWER OTHER IC)
37 - BREG (NOT USING THE INTERNAL REGULATOR TO POWER OTHER IC)
38 - FUSE (NOT PLANNING TO USE)
39 - PDSG
40 - PCHG
43 - DSG
45 - CHG
46 - CP1
Could you please let me know if these are all the pins that are not necessary anymore or should any additional pins also be included ?
