Hi,

I have question regarding QOD mechanism. How I understand QOD mechanism triggered by under voltage threshold (in my case EN/UVLO input voltage level is LOW, but input voltage present=28V)) and continue some period: it discharge output caps with current about 25mA.

After discharge complete the controller stop current sink mechanism. My question is follow. If after QOD complete and in controller still disable(EN/UVLO input voltage level is still LOW); on output pins appear some voltage due another source; does QOD mechanism restart?

Sorry for delay.

That leakage is expected when VDD is present and en is low. It is coming from controller.

According block diagram QOD timer limit time QOD is running (see attched file). What do you think about? In DS I found tDischarge and tQOD. Both of them running when Vsd< Ven/uvlo. What happen in case Vsd>Ven/uvlo?

For VEN<VSD, QOD will not happen. Did I get your question right?

For one part of the question, you answer.

Second part is regarding timing. Let's say QOD started. Is it work infinitive time till output voltage will decrease to some value (interesting know what the value is!). Or it works some predefined time and complete without any dependance from value of output voltage?
