TPS1689: Part availability - when is it releasing to production?

Hello,

I'm interested in your TPS1689x and TPS1685x hot swap controllers, but I need to find out when these are releasing to production and when they will be available. This is so painful to try to find our from TI it is very frustrating. I should be able to call support or some local rep and get this answer in a couple minutes, but TI as made this impossible. Maybe I'll have better luck through this forum. Is there anyone at TI that has any clue about your TPS1689x or TPS1685x family of parts and when they will be in production and available in distribution?

I don't know what you are asking. I submitted the question to the only "forum" I'm able to select for this part there are no other forum options for this part number. I tried calling customer support - but that is completely useless - whoever they have answering calls has no idea and the AI responses or responses they read from a screen make no sense at all and I just eventually say thanks and hang up. I sure mis the days when I could just email a local rep and get an answer. This is why I prefer to use Analog Devices instead, but they don't have a part like this yet.
