TPS25990: How to configure the GPIO_CONFIG_12 register and GPIO_CONFIG_34 register

Hi team,

I'm a third-party developer working on the TPS25990. Recently, we received a test file generated by the online GUI from our customer and attempted to program it. However, we found that two of the configurations could not be written successfully, GPIO_CONFIG_12(E1h) and GPIO_CONFIG_34(E2h). The settings in the file are 0x11 and 0x01, but when we read them back, we found that they were not written in. Are there any restrictions for configuring these two registers?

Hi Dennis,

You need to unlock write protect. Are you using GUI?

Hi Kunal,

I have unlocked the write protection and able to write other values to GPIO_CONFIG_12 (E1h), such as 0x55. But 0x11 still can't be written. My platform is a third-party programmer.

When you read back after writing 0x11, what data you see?

Hi Kunal,

After writing all the configurations register, I read the back immediately in the same power cycle. I found that 0x11 was not written in; instead, it remained at the default value of 0x00.
