TPS546D24: TPS546D24A remote sense loop stability test

Part Number: TPS546D24

Tool/software:

Hi team,

My customer is using TPS546D24A and want to perform loop stability test and simulation, they noticed that our EVM loop stability test point is quite different with typical low current Buck converter(local sense feedback).

Do you have more materials/docs that descript remote sense buck loop stability test and PSPICE simulation method? Thank you!

  • Hi Yunjing,

It is just a different injection method. You can do whichever method you prefer, both will yield the same result.

If you inject in series with the remote sense, make sure to plot VOUT / VOSNS, instead of just VOUT.

    Thank you,
    Tomoya
