What technical support are they looking for?

When it comes to support, I recommend the PMP21529 reference design since we have more resources on this design. For example, "Multimode control for a four-switch buck-boost converter" (https://www.ti.com/lit/an/slyt765/slyt765.pdf) was written for the PMP21529 firmware.
