We are planning to use the TPS61087DSCR circuit as a backup power source. For this purpose, we have added a supercapacitor on the input side. When VCC5V is available on the board, the supercapacitor will store charge. When VCC5V is not available, it will provide input voltage to the TPS61087DSCR, supplying backup power to the system to allow for a proper shutdown of all operations.
Could you please review our design and let us know if any changes are required?
