TPS63020: Can it support VIN=6.5V?

Tool/software:

The TPS63020 SPEC recommends a VIN of 5.5V, but the maximum Vin can be 7V. If I use two CR123s in series (6V input), is that OK?

    Hello,

    It's not okay. The switching regulator needs margin to withstand voltage overshoot caused by switching ringing. 6V input might work in the beginning but will affect reliability at last.
