I'm looking for a controller for a 4-switch bidirectional buck-boost controller like LM5177 but with AEC qualification and an I2C interface. Is there any controller options available?

You can use LM51772 buck boost controller, which support bi-directional operation and I2C communication interface.

Moreover, we have another option for LM251772 for USB PD. It have also I2C interface and bi-directional operation.
