UCC3895: The problem of building the circuit

Part Number: UCC3895

Tool/software:

Hi,

The peripheral circuit built by the customer using the UCC3895 chip and referring to the technical manual is shown in the following figure:

The customer hopes to adjust the duty cycle size through EA+20 pins, but the TI simulation software on the official website shows no corresponding change.

The current requirement is an output of 400KHz with a dead time of over 300ns, corresponding to a controllable duty cycle size.

Thanks~

  • Hello,

    This is being worked on.

  • Hello,

If you are testing this in an open loop circuit when A and D or B and C are on the transformer will have the input voltage applied across it.

Out A through D will have 50% duty cycle.  Out A and B is fixed to the master clock and are 180 degrees out of phase.  Out C and D are phase shifted to achieve duty cycle.

So, in your open loop circuit look at phase A and D outputs and vary the voltage amplifier non-inverting input from 0 to 2 V.  You should seed output D phase shifted from 180 degrees out of phase to 100 degrees out of phase.
