Hello,

I am writing to inquire about the capacitor used for the VCC pin of the LM60430-Q1. Specifically, we have used Taiyo Yuden's MCASE168SB7105KTNA01 (1uF / 1608 / 16V / X7R) for this purpose, as highlighted by the red box in the attached image.

Could you please confirm whether the ESR value of this capacitor is appropriate for use on the VCC pin of the LM60430-Q1?

We would appreciate your confirmation and any additional guidance you can provide.

    Hi Donghyun,

    This device should be okay.

    You can even consider using a smaller package for the Capacitor (Like 0603). As long as you use a ceramic cap of the right capacitance value (and it is high quality - like X7R) - you should be fine.
