Hello, I would like to ask how I could build a charger for lithium-phosphate batteries based on one of the multiphase voltage converters. It is not clear to me how to implement the control of the converter as a charger. The input power is 12V/125A. The output is 3.65V/300A.

Hi Tsvetan,

In general, the inductor current is proportional to ISET. Change ISET voltage to adjust the current.

The reference used precise current sensing and op amp, and has a very high current regulation accuracy.

Hi Tsvetan,

It is easy to build a multiphase charger with LM5171. However, I know little about battery charging chip. Maybe you can start a new thread with a battery charging chip.
