Hi! I have an EV2400 that is stuck in SPI mode based on a firmware update that I previously did not do.
How does one use this for I2C again? Is there a firmware update that will put this back in to 'regular' mode?

Please re-program the firmware. There is no FW that keeps the EV2400 in SPI mode.

Thanks Dominik

That got rid of SPI mode, but now its not detecting the bq34z100G1.

It should be coming up with Addr 0xAA and 0100_0_16. Any ideas?

Is there a hidden folder that would cache settings from another chip used in the past? Some cache issue?

No. There is no hidden cache. bqStudio issues the device ID and FW id command via I2C and the gauge responds accordingly. Please hook up an I2C analyzer and check what's actually being read on the bus.
