Hi team,

Does its output power capability depend on which device is connected? We checked below.

All laptop and smartphone could be charged with 15W w/o issue.
Toshiba Lenova (X13) is charged as fast-charge; 30~40W, looks good.
Lenova (X390) is not charfed as fast charge, only 15W. -> Do you know why?
We confirmed "productioned PD charger adaptor" chager Lenova (X390) is charged as fast charge; 30~40W.

We use TPS25772DQRQLRQ1.

Ochi,

Do you have the ability to capture a PD log of the laptop connection? If you do, then please provide a PD log.

The TPS25772DQ1 will offer a set of contracts and the laptop can choose the contract that it accepts.

If you do not have a tool that allows you to capture a PD log, you can sample the TI PD Analyzer: https://www.ti.com/tool/TI-PD-ANALYZER

This will allow you to capture a PD log of what is happening and share it with me to help with debug.

I do not have a tool that can capture the PD log.

Can you please tell us what the possible factors are based on the information you have now?

There are many factors that can impact the results so it is almost impossible to debug without a PD log and the fastest way that I can help with the debug is for you to sample a TI PD Analyzer to capture the PD log. They are available for free to TI employees on ti.com at: https://www.ti.com/tool/TI-PD-ANALYZER
