Part that I referred above is not directly relevant to my question..
Is there a current limiting ICs that can just limit and regulate the current regardless of time? I know there are many ICs that monitors current then shutdown or auto-retry mode but I don't want these features. Good to have is OVLO, UVLO, Inrush but nothing more. No need to have overcurrent monitoring then shutdown. I just want my circuit to limit the current.
I wasn't sure If I have to go with discrete level design if not possible at IC level. Current that I want to limit is 5~6A and input voltage 18~35V. No digital/analog feedback allowed. I just have source voltage coming into my design.
