We would require support to find out the presence of dechlorane and UV328 substances in the component - LP3990MFX-1.2/NOPB
Preliminary analysis has been done by checking the presence of CAS ID - 135821-03-3, 135821-74-8, 13560-89-9 and 25973-55-1 in component information and chemical report provided in the Material content search .
- While checking the component description in material content search for the respective parts, these CAS IDs mentioned above are absent. However while referring the chemical report, the appendix a of the chemical report, it mentions RL of 0.05 for CAS ID - 25973-55-1, whereas it is absent in component description. we require support to find out on which document to stick to?
- We had reached out to TI officials for support on the same, and as suggested by them I checked
Statement on REACH Articles Provisions from Texas Instruments, Semiconductor Products.
We however are yet to get a conformity on the absence of dechlorane and UV328. We further have the following queries on the documents
- As per Statement on REACH Articles Provisions from Texas Instruments, Semiconductor Products Update: UV-328 is part of Updated Candidate List on 17 Dec 2014. So, I presume it means that if the Material description mention REACH – YES means UV-328 is ABSENT in the component and if mentioned as Exempt, the exempted content is mentioned in the Material description doc only. Please clarify?
- As per Statement on REACH Articles Provisions from Texas Instruments, Semiconductor Products Update – Dechlorane plus CAS IDs (135821-03-3,135821-74-8, 13560-89-9 are not captured as SVHC or REACH Candidate nor in RCM under section 31 of general quality guidelines. Can you please confirm that the component listed in the list shared by me doesn’t contain dechlorane plus substances at all? Whether there is any separate report or certification for the same?
- Can you also please clarify on what is meant by RL-0.05 in the appendix a of chemical report?
