CSD25501F3: MAX positive VGS

Part Number: CSD25501F3

Tool/software:

OK so my question was about

but the part number field doesn't recognize it as a part?

Lets say i want to give VGS>0 for personal reasons.

There is actually no spec for max positive VGS, but RC is 10k which will limit the current through the clamp diode.

Im assuming even up to +20V will be OK since the diode IF would only be ~2mA

is my understanding right?

  • Hello Dimitri,

Thanks for the inquiry. Yes, the clamp resistor will limit the current in the ESD diode which in turn will clamp VGS to a junction diode drop. I pulled up the characterization data collected during product development. I couldn't find any data for +VGS. You should be OK as the ESD diode can handle 10's of mA forward current. The concern may be the power dissipation in the clamp resistor. At 2mA, the nominal dissipation is 40mW in RC. Please let me know if you have any additional questions.
