BQ40Z50-R2: application problem

Part Number: BQ40Z50-R2

Tool/software:

Hi,I used BQ40Z50-R2 on a 2s1p battery pack and found that even after unplugging the battery pack from the appliance, I could still collect a current change of 1.5 seconds (for example, if the working current on the appliance is 8A, after unplugging the battery, the collected current would show a change of 8A -->6A -->500mA -->0mA, and I used an external MCU to read the current information through SMBUS, recording a frame of data every 500ms). My question is why the discharge current did not directly change from 8A to 0A. Therefore, I conducted a discharge test on the battery and collected a log and screen recording using Battery Management Studio. However, since the software records data for at least 1 second per frame, there is a probability that it cannot reproduce the situation I mentioned. Nevertheless, multiple tests have shown that the sampled current after turning off the discharge does not directly go to 0. May I ask what is the reason for this situation?
