BQ27426: Data seems can't be written to Data Memory

Hi,

Here's an issue related to Data Memory.
We try to write Taper rate, Quit current, Charge current, and Chemistry ID to DM,
But those data sometimes are lost when trying to reboot the device.
Can write those necessary data to the nvm really effect after "write chksum" & "soft_reset" ?

The bq27426 doesn't have persistent memory. You will always have to program the configuration when you power cycle the gauge. The gauge indicates this with the ITPOR bit. You must re-configure the gauge when this bit is set.

Did you mean the task we need to do is try to monitor the ITPOR bit to re-configure the gauge due to the configuration cannot be stored persistently?

As the description in the document, ITPOR will be 1 during POR.

So, it seems ITPOR state is become 1 during the running mode on our device.
Is there any method to prevent ITPOR to be changed to 1 while the system isn't in POR state?

ITPOR will only turn 1 if the gauge is reset, either through a RESET command or with a power cycle (or the voltage on VDD dropped too much, e.g. if you don't have a proper 2.2uF capacitor and/or you have a load attached to VDD).
