We are considering using the BQ28Z620.
This device has two functions, a gauge function and a protection function, but is it okay to configure the circuit without using the protection function?
If the battery has a protection circuit, is it okay not to use the protection function of this device?
In other words, a configuration that does not use the FET connected to CHG/DSG.
