TPS274160: Clarification on current limt setting

We are using the TPS274160ARLHR in our design and would like to clarify the calculation of the current limit resistor (R_CL).

Is the below formula for calculating the current limit resistor intended for each individual channel, or does it apply to the total current flowing through the VS pin (i.e., the combined current of all channels)?

Just for my understanding,

If I want to limit the current of each channel to 1A, I have to set the current limit resistor (RCL) to 2kΩ, based on the formula. If any of the four channels exceeds 1A, the fault condition will be indicated through the specific STATUS pins. Is that correct?
