Are there any boost converters with pass-through functionality and a voltage rating above 12V?

The input line consists of either a 12V input from an AC/DC source or from a Li-ion battery, with an output of 12V, an average current of 2.1A (peak current of 7A).

Therefore, pass-through functionality is necessary, but when looking at TI products, I can only find ones with lower voltage ratings.

    Hi Kyohei,

    Let me state my understanding about your application. Your target output is 12V, but you have two optional input, 12V/Li-ion battery. So you need TLV61047 when using Li-ion but don't want to boost voltage when using 12V.

    Actually, for any non-sync boost converter, the diode can always make current goes from VIN to VOUT when VIN is higher than VOUT. So if your input is 12V, and the device target is also 12V, the device will skip cycles. If your input goes a bit higher, the device will stop switching, so VIN is connected to VOUT directly through an inductor and a diode. This case is OK for all non-sync boost converter. You don't need "Pass through" feature on non-sync boost converter.
