Hi,

I have compared the circuit presented in SLUA653C (page 18, see below) with the circuit in SLUM619. I noticed that components C15 and R20, which are defined in the TINA-TI circuit of SLUM619, are not present in the circuit of SLUA653C. I would appreciate it if you could explain the purpose of these components in the simulation and how their values are determined.

Hello,

R and C in Tina sim is low side snubber used to reduce the voltage stress on FET and C necessary in sim to get DCM valley ring as in case of real Mosfet.

In the case of the real circuit SLUA653C , we have high side snubber. See the below picture to get the values.
