UCC21530: UCC21530 -40 Working ıssue.

We are using UCC21530 IC for isolated half bridge gate deriver. I had test on our hardware in -40 celsius and gate deriver IC OUTA  stay low while INA and INB have input PWM signal also OUTB have PWM signal but OUTA stay low in -40 degree.  How to fix this problem.

    A couple questions to better understand on my end:

    • Have you tried an ABA swap test? Does this issue follow a specific device?
    • Could you try measuring the pin-to-pin impedances on the device to see if there could be damage?
      • VDDA - VSSA
      • OUTA - VSSA
      • VDDA - OUTA

    We had tried ABA swap test and fail IC still not working on the good hardware. We measure pin to pin impedance.

    Working IC  Fail IC
    VSSA-VDDA 362K 350K
    VA-VDDA 370K 356K
    VSSA-VA 388K 388K
    INA-GND 183K 190K
    INB-GND 190K 190K

    IC ıssued date 21 oct 2020.

    That helps clarify that there is no obvious damage on OUTA.

    Would you be able to provide any waveforms of this issue?

    I am wondering if this is related to bootstrap circuit or noise on VDDA.

    Finally We found the problem that is about low voltage supply;

    pin 3 and pin 5 supply directly connect to the +15V but pin 8 supply connect to the after FB15 ferrite that broke the IC.
