UCC27210: Simulation, hardware & system design tools forum

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: UCC27210

Tool/software:

in this schematic output voltage is max 8v

applied voltage 24v dc

please help me to rectify this problem

  • max output voltage 8v p-p

  • Hey Nithin,

Thank you for reaching out to TI with your questions regarding the UCC27210.

The HS pin, should be connected directly to the switch node (T1 source to T2 drain). In the current configuration you have a 1k series resistor between HS and the switch node.

The output of the half-bridge is the switch node to the load to ground. So, to simulate this, you would connect your load to the switch node to ground and then measure the voltage across it.

Let me know if there are further questions.

    Thank you,

    William Moore

  • the above mentioned problem solved

i have a doubt what is the effect of gate to source (R3,R2)resistor

The below attached image without R2,R3

  • Hey Nithin,

It is good to hear that you were able to resolve the first issue.

The gate-source pulldown resistors are not a required component in these gate driver circuits as the gate driver internally pulls the output low when the input is low. These are often included to ensure that the FETs are pulled low as a safety measure.

    Thank you,

    William Moore
