How does the device behave in case of failure?

My understanding is that each orderable part number is pre-programmed for use with a specific SoC.

If the non-volatile memory is somehow corrupted or wiped, does the PMIC return to a "default" configuration?

How would it be fixed?

Hi Michael,

Device has register CRC to protect operation in a case of bit flip or corrupted memory. If this happens device will initiate shutdown and tries re-start but if error persist it will not power-up before input power is cycled.

In a worst-case scenario, would the device ever need to be re-programmed?

Hi Michael,

Certain OPN specified for certain SOC is not assumed to be re-programmed ever.
